Thankful for my momma. As a hospice nurse she gives so much love to families she barely knows. She gives even more for our family every day. She’s one of the most compassionate people I know. Happy Mother’s Day to all you awesome moms!!

You know, when I was 14 years old, if I was watching House of Style, watching a transsexual being interviewed and talking about that, then it would’ve completely changed my life, you know… I would’ve felt saved.”
I loved this. I also read her “My First Year as a Woman” on Cosmopolitan.com (wish it wasn’t in such a horrid publication) and I’m so happy for her and that they are all a happy family.
In high school I saw Against Me! twice (I had a crush on Tom) and when my friends’ band The Swellers played with them, they brought me home a signed flyer. I hope I get to see them when they pass through the mitten state again!
